Skip Hire Permits

If the skip is to be located on public land, such as on the road, a footpath or verge, a permit is required by law.

Please allow 10 days notice for this. Whilst it MAY be possible to get a permit with shorter notice if the location is not traffic sensitive, this is not guaranteed.

You will need to fill in the Application form, and return it to the council, together with a drawing illustrating the positioning, to the council.
